These Friction Stay upvc window Hinges are only suitable for side hung windows (i.e ones with a hinge at the top and bottom of the opening window sash).

These friction stay window hinges have all the features possible:

Restricted child safety feature only allows the window to open a small distance. A button on both hinges must be depressed to open the window past this position.

The hinges have the Egress/Fire safety feature allowing a larger opening to escape through once fully open.

Easy clean feature is also installed allowing the window to slide to the locking side of the frame when open so the glass on the outside can be cleaned from inside.
